Privacy Policy for myMMX App Users
Parties and responsibility for the processing of your personal data.
nWise is personal data processor for anyone who has prescribed myMMX to you. This means that your prescribing Region or Public Employment Service is the Personal Data Controller (PDC). You however are always the owner of your personal data. We may access some second-hand information from Regional prescribers and the Public Employment Service for example, in order to be able to manage a case.
What personal data on you do we process?
As personal data processor for Regions and the Public Employment Service for example, we process the following data on you, as a user:
- First and last name
- SIP address
- Any TTY/textphone number
- Location information
Location information
Location information is only used when the user is calling to an emergency service to be able to get help to the right location. You can decide to allow the app to use your location when you install and login to the app. You can change your selection in your device at any time.
Location information is not stored in the app or service, it is only used when calling to an emergency number.
Why do we process your personal data?
We process this personal data so that you are able to:
make and receive calls with myMMX.
Who do we share personal data with?
We do not share personal data with any external party. The data is stored in Sweden and within the EU. Your SIP address or TTY/textphone number is displayed to the caller when you call, in a similar way to a normal telephone call where the caller’s telephone number is displayed. Location information is only used when the user calls to an emergency number and shared with emergency services to be able to get help to the right location. Location information is optional to allow, the user can select to deny or turn off the app to use access location information in this case no location information is shared when calling emergency numbers.
For how long do we store your personal data?
We store data as long as you have an active and valid account. Basically, accounts are valid for 3 years, and are then extended by your prescriber or case worker by a further 1, 2 or 3 years. We screen personal data each month, and if you have an account that has become inactive, your personal data is erased within 4 weeks of the expiry date. You can then no longer make calls with myMMX, and if you want to start using the product again, a new account must be created. Location information is not stored in the platform, it is only used when calling to an emergency number.
What are your rights?
You can have your personal data corrected, e.g. correct your name if it is wrong.
You can request that your personal data is erased, and thereby terminate your use of myMMX.
You can request a data register extract free of charge, once a year.
If you wish to exercise any of the above rights, you must contact your prescriber/case worker or the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority if your request concerns use of video and text telephony.

Data register extract for myMMX users
Any personal data is the property of the individual user, and nWise only uses such personal data to provide the services that the Personal Data Controller/our purchasing customer (PDC), and the Personal Data Processor/nWise (PDP) have agreed upon, and for purposes that are compatible with the provision of such services. nWise does not share data, or use it for marketing or advertising purposes.
Individual users can request a data register extract. A request for a data register extract must be made in writing to the personal data controller. The request must be signed, and therefore cannot be sent by e-mail. Individual users have the right to obtain a data register extract free of charge, once a year. nWise only accepts data register extract requests via the PDC.
If a user wants a data register extract, they must contact their personal data controller, e.g. county prescriber, Public Employment Service’s case worker, or owner of the service that they are using.
MMX buyers

nWise is personal data processor for you, as a customer/buyer of our MMX services and products.
What personal data on you do we process?
Concerning personal data on purchasing customers, e.g. Public Employment Service or County employees, we process:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Invoice address
Why do we process your personal data?
We process this personal data in order to meet our contractual obligations. This includes responding to quotes, orders, invoicing, supporting, informing via news bulletins and emails, and above all staying in touch with you as a customer.
Who do we share personal data with?
nWise has personal data processor agreements with a few other parties, which are required in order for us to be able to conduct business. Data is stored in Sweden and within the EU.
For how long do we store your personal data?
We store data as long as we have an agreement in force, and/or if you buy products from us. The data is stored for 7 years as provided for in the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
What are your rights?
You can have your personal data corrected, e.g. correct your email address if it is wrong.
You can request that your personal data is erased.

Data register extract for MMX buyers
