What expertise do you bring to the boardroom table?
The obvious areas for me are business development and financial questions, where my experience should really come in useful. But I’m also very interested in technology and hope to be able to contribute on that front too.

What got you interested in accepting the board member role at nWise?
I think nWise is a great company with huge potential to grow in new fields, whilst the company currently also enjoys a strong position with its existing business, posting good profitability. I find the company to be in an exciting phase and we have big ambitions for the future. Of course, I want to provide my support to the company on this journey.

Title and company:
VP Global Sales, nWise

I was born in Brazil, but have lived in Sweden for 30 years. After studying in the US, I started developing and selling text telephones for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and later in the early 2000’s to develop and sell technology for Video Relay Services (VRS). I went on to help develop MMX, and in 2008, we founded nWise, where I am currently a majority owner.

With my extensive network and insight into the market, as well as my knowledge of the laws regulating the business, it made sense for me to accept the offer. And the job itself is also great fun and highly rewarding!
What expertise do you bring to the boardroom table?
I’m an expert in the deployment of Telecom Relay Service, emergency call accessibility (112, 911, etc.), and related regulations and legislation. Furthermore, I have an extensive global network, focused on North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Peter Lenti (first appointed 2021)
Title and company:
Besides the board work for nWise, I work as a consultant in Brazil via one of my businesses. I also sit on other company boards.
Describe your background and your work, as well as previous roles.
Having completed my degree in civil engineering within computer sciences from Linköping University, I worked at ABB and SEB in various roles. I was CTO at Cinnober Financial Technology before it was sold to Nasdaq in 2018. When I started Cinnober, which was in the trading and clearing systems business, there were 4 of us. And when we sold, we had a staff of 300.
What got you interested in accepting the board member role at nWise?
Two things stand out for me. For one I find nWise’s business to be important and find it rewarding to assist where I can, and furthermore it’s great to work with something with an angle I’ve been involved with from the financial sector, i.e., real-time systems and accessibility.
What expertise do you bring to the boardroom table?
I do have a fair bit of experience of how to handle different types of projects, both big and small, and often technically complex. So I think I can contribute with my experience of complex issues in several areas. There are always issues to address, and a little common sense often goes a long way.
