We’re thrilled to announce that InterpreterNow, our partner in the UK and owned by SignHealth, is shortlisted in the Third Sector Awards as Digital Innovation of the Year at the in UK.

The nominations goes to charities and social enterprises that are pushing the boundaries, and this year SignHealth is nominated alongside the British Red Cross, Amnesty International UK, SH:24 and the British Heart Foundation.

InterpreterNow is a digital innovation, revolutionising telecommunications for Deaf sign language users. The winner will be presented at the award ceremony on the 14th of September at Lancaster London.

InterpreterNow is powered by MMX. The service is available through web browsers and iOS and Android apps for tablets and smartphones.  They give people that are deaf or hard of hearing the ability to call government, emergency numbers and health services like any other hearing person.

The Third Sector is an economic sector consisting of non-governmental organizations and other non-profit organizations.
